Amber Frances is a non-binary potter working and living in Chicago. Always an art kid, they got hooked on ceramics in college where they discovered they can draw, paint, and incorporate everything they love about 2d art onto clay.

From wheel throwing to hand-building, they love that there are so many different ways to work with clay, and inspire others to try new things when they teach. Teaching and making have always gone hand in hand for Amber, and they get inspired by teaching and helping students grow. They are curious about everything, and they use clay as a medium to make functional ware that reflects the world in all of its goofy and majestic glory.

Amber teaches on Friday afternoons and evenings.
