Chicago Ceramic Center is the ideal destination for the beginning potter all the way to the most seasoned and advanced sculptor.
Our facility is located in the historic Bridgeport Art Center, located 5 miles south of downtown Chicago.  With ample parking, we offer weekly adult pottery classes and kid’s workshops.  In addition to our exceptional facility, we are also pleased to be home of Circle Line Gallery with ongoing ceramic exhibitions and performances and pottery events.

Adult & Kids Classes

We offer beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of study. Our pottery classes include all levels of wheel throwing and hand building. We also offer workshops in raku, soda fire, wood firing and glazing techniques. In addition to our rich course structure and facility we offer kid’s classes and workshops.

Whether you slip-cast pottery, figure sculpt, wheel throw or are a conceptual ceramicist, we have the space for you. Our family of independent study students range from the hobbyist, newly graduated,  the professional maker doing craft fairs or artist showing with galleries.

Gallery Rental

Need space to host your exhibition? Circle Line Gallery at the CCC is 1100 sq ft of visual splendor to rent and present your art. A space where ancient timbers from 1911 meet the minimal, clean lines of modernity. Our monthly rental includes Bridgeport Art Center’s Third Friday event which attracts hundreds of people each month.
